I do love colour! You should know that bold lips (and -at certain periods of my life- funky coloured hair) are my trademark. Therefore, you can imagine how head over hills I was when informed of the special colour theme that Bond Events had chosen for our styled shoot. The clear art deco lines of the furniture, the faery iridescent crystals and the amethyst hand-painted blooms on the lilac-blue Costarellos gown led me opt for a calm yet bold in structure makeover for our bride .
This beautiful lady had very long hair down to her waist and it was such a crazy windy day! The elegant and unconventional bridal low ponytail with a... punk twist worked wonders with the neckline and the style of the gown. It was a perfect choice for a windy day by the sea. For the bridal makeup I "dipped" my brush in the heart of the regal purple calla lilies and voila the most sofisticated lips took shape. I kept the skin luminous and softly bronzed up. Finally a little grooming for our groom went a long way.
From the mouth of our photographer Jacobo Pachon: "Like the iridescent side of a bubble where the sunlight hits, this wedding inspiration is bursting with luxe colours and fine details. Inspired by a modern wedding mentality, this styled shoot aims to excite the young and in love, the unconventional ones and those who want nothing classic, nothing seen before". Enjoy!
