A Laid-back Black-tie wedding in Kea (Tzia)

Haute Bridal Beauty by Antigoni Livieratou

On the island of Kea (Tzia), where Cycladic stone meets Aegean light, I created a haute bridal look that reflected both place and personality. The bride, of Armenian heritage, brought a rich sense of elegance and tradition; the groom, Swedish, conveyed crisp modern refinement.
Together, they embodied a union of textures and tones — crafted in perfect harmony with the island’s architecture.

Their villa venue perched high on the mountain, built in local stone, with terraces layered like Kea’s ancient hillsceramic-tile roofs, and narrow paths weaving through olive groves. The setting itself whispered sophistication — understated, authentic, and deeply rooted in Greek island charm.

For the bride’s look: luminous, “no-makeup” skin that mirrored the island’s light; hair arranged in a sculpted knot that echoed the villa’s architectural lines; and a minimal long blusher veil that added cinematic softness.
The result was effortless elegance — a study in
refined simplicity and high artistry.

As the day unfolded under the Aegean sun, guests gathered on the stone terrace facing the deep blue sea in the far. The architecture became a silent witness, framing the couple’s moment rather than competing with it. Every detail — from beauty to design — served the same vision: elegance, authenticity, timeless luxury.

A celebration where past and present met beautifully: heritage stone walls, ancestral culture, and modern restraint — a story of beauty shaped by place, light, and artistry.
