The (hi)story

The beginning

My interest in design and my inner need to create things with my hands started very early in my life, literally when I was in elementary school. Years later it was not a coincidence that my first degree was graphic design and interior decoration.

Developing my style

For the last 15 years I am a successful hair and makeup artist involved among other activities in numerous editorials and fashion shoots. I started my career in London and that gave me the opportunity to work with people from all over the world. The freedom of expression that London provides as well as the multi-cultural dimension of it sculptured my style.

My moto “let your beauty unfold” is an ode to the endless possibilities of personal expression.

Journey never ends

Lately I’ve channeled my inner need into a new activity, continuing nevertheless my hair and makeup artistry.

Therefore, handmade jewellery is what I do when I am not holding a makeup brush in my hand. And all the pieces are made by me with love, semi precious stones and crystals in my station in Athens, Greece. BUGS jewelry are sassy and have an assortment of fashion references. From steampunk and rock to minimal, boho and bridal they have many facets. Like my makeup work does.
